Give thanks too for Queen Elizabeth for her faithfulness to God and to the nation, her dedication, wisdom and commitment, pray for her health and wellbeing.
On this day of Pentecost give thanks for the coming of the Holy Spirit to fill our lives and our churches – may we be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all our plans, in all we say and do. Pray too for Patrick and Ryan being baptised today.
Bible Study Group
Monday afternoons from 2.30 – 4.00 pm in Church, looking at the readings set for Sunday. It is an informal discussion group where all thoughts and ideas are valued. New members are welcome.
Salvation Army
We are now able to continue collecting food items for Burton Salvation Army, the basket will be in church which will be open every day. Tinned or packaged goods – in date please.
