This week is the ‘Week of prayer for Christian Unity’. Please pray for all Christians and churches throughout the world, especially those living in areas of danger, those struggling due to Covid and for our own Benefice as we reach out to our communities.

Flower Guild

Do you enjoy seeing the flower arrangements in church and would like us to continue with fresh displays each week?
Then please help us by signing up on the rota list at the back of church – just once a year is enough …  maybe to remember someone special, an occasion or a birthday. If you need help or to find out more please call me.  Sarah 473046

 

Due to the ongoing Covid situation, all the Church doors of St Peter’s, Yoxall will remain open during services until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but in the interests of safety feel it is a necessary step to take.

 

Bible Study Group

Salvation Army

We are now able to continue collecting food items for Burton Salvation Army, the basket will be in church which will be open every day. Tinned or packaged goods – in date please.

 

Soul Food Course

Deborah would like to draw to everyone’s attention to a course on prayer run by the Diocesan Spirituality Team.  It is called ‘Soul Food’ and is available in-person and on-line:

‘Soul Food’  is a course for anyone who wants to grow in prayer.

While there is a full in-person course running, potential participants may also want to do the course online. Over eight evenings and two Saturdays this spring, the group will explore and practice ways of praying, with awareness of the Christian prayer traditions and also of our own personalities and the ways God is calling us now. The course is open to all including beginners in prayer and those with longer experience.
