The church now open every day!
St Peter’s Church will be open every day. Groups wishing to use the church will need to notify Kay which days they would like to use the church, in order to avoid possible clashes.
Once your date has been agreed with Kay, please don’t forget to enter the details of the meetings or events in the red church diary in St Swithin’s room as soon as possible.

Rehearsals for the Remembrance Service on 14th November are on 29th October and 5th November

Bible Study Group
Monday afternoons from 2.30 – 4.00 pm in Church, looking at the readings set for Sunday. It is an informal discussion group where all thoughts and ideas are valued. New members will be made very welcome.
Tea and Toast
Tea and Toast is back! Monday mornings during term time from 9.00am to 10.00am in church. All welcome!
Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop in church will be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday between 10.30am – 12 noon. Do drop by for a drink and chat. The next Coffee Shop is on 7th October. All welcome!
Coffee Morning
Frank and Margaret Finch are holding their annual Coffee Morning to raise funds for St.Peter’s Prayer Shawl Ministry on Tuesday 19th October from 10.00am – 12.00noon in St. Peter’s Church, Yoxall (*Please note change of venue*) £2 admission on the door for tea/coffee, and as much cake as you can eat. HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER REQUIRED
Eric Anderson, who has been St Peter’s Health and Safety Officer for many years, feels that he is no longer able to continue in the role. Eric’s work for St Peter’s has been invaluable. If anyone is interested in taking on this role, Eric is prepared to give them all the assistance required to fulfil the job. Salvation Army
We are now able to continue collecting food items for Burton Salvation Army, the basket will be in church which will be open every day. Tinned or packaged goods – in date please
Pathway
We have recently sent women’s and children’s clothes to the Pathway refuge in Lichfield as they can once more accept these items. We can also resume collecting toiletries for the women and children there. Please put in the marked box at the back of church.
Please can we have donations for the Church tubs
It’s that time of year again when we need to think about replanting the church tubs for our autumn display. We would be very grateful for any donations towards buying the plants. Thank you for all your generous contributions in the past. Please place donations in an envelope and post through the letter box at Rook Cottage, Victoria Street.
