Important Notice

Dispensation from Canonical Requirements for Public Worship

The Bishop of Lichfield has issued a dispensation from Canonical Requirements for Public Worship for the next two months. This means that any church, with the assent of their wardens and PCC, may decide, if there is urgent reason, such as concerns about the safety of the congregation due to increased risk of infection in the Covid pandemic, to suspend public worship for a limited time. The wardens and PCC of all Churches in the Benefice have agreed to do this. This means that there will currently be no public services of worship at Yoxall, Hamstall Ridware, Mavesyn Ridware and Kings Bromley. The wardens and PCC will review the situation at the end of February. Public notices to this effect will be posted, as required by law. Weddings and Funerals will still take place.

Lent Reflections

For each week of Lent Deborah, Mike and Frank have written reflections on the daily bible readings. These are available for you to use in your prayers at home.

Notice Sheets from Kings Bromley, Hamstall Ridware and Mavesyn Ridware

In addition to the Notice sheet for Yoxall, we will be sending out the Notice sheets for the other Churches in our Benefice each week so that we can all pray for one another at this time.

While the churches are closed Deborah will celebrate the Eucharist at home at 10am every Sunday morning for us all. If you wish please do use the Service of Spiritual Communion to join in that service at home.  If you do not have a copy of the service just email Deborah:
