Important Notice

Dispensation from Canonical Requirements for Public Worship

The Bishop of Lichfield has issued a dispensation from Canonical Requirements for Public Worship for the next two months.  This means that any church, with the assent of their wardens and PCC, may decide, if there is urgent reason, such as concerns about the safety of the congregation due to increased risk of infection in the Covid pandemic, to suspend public worship for a limited time. The wardens and PCC of all Churches in the Benefice have agreed to do this. This means that there will currently be no public services of worship at , Yoxall, Hamstall Ridware, Mavesyn Ridware and Kings Bromley.  The wardens and PCC will review the situation on 15th February 2021 at Kings Bromley, Yoxall and Mavesyn Ridware and on the 31st January at Hamstall Ridware.  Public notices to this effect will be posted, as required by law.  Weddings and Funerals will still take place.

Revd. Preb. Deborah Sheridan

Rev. Preb. Marilyn Peters

Notice Sheets from Kings Bromley, Hamstall Ridware and Mavesyn Ridware

In addition to the Notice sheet for Yoxall, we will be sending out the Notice sheets for the other Churches in our Benefice each week so that we can all pray for one another at this time.
