Give thanks for the work of the Salvation Army and other food bank providers also for the Pathway women’s refuge in Lichfield.
Those who are remembered at this time:
Hilda Mary Hammond
We remember too any friends or family who have died this year.

We give thanks for the response to the Reverse Advent Calendar appeal – food parcels sent to the Salvation Army in Burton and also for gifts of toys and toiletries for Mums sent to the Pathway project in Lichfield. They are all very much appreciated.

Traidcraft
Although we have not been able to have the Traidcraft stall in church over the last few months, we have still been selling items from our store and several of you have bought goods we have in stock (especially chocolate!). We are now having a new consignment of goods so if anyone wishes to purchase Traidcraft items please let us know on 01543 472761 or lizandmike.83@btinternet.com We shall be having a fresh supply of tea; coffee; chocolate; biscuits; dried fruit (remember Christmas is approaching) Toilet rolls; Kitchen roll; Muesli and we are also having some Divine Chocolate Advent Calendars, which also contain the Christmas story. We also have a supply of Traidcraft catalogues if you would like to look at one for yourselves. Just get in touch. Liz and Mike
Children’s Society Boxes
Please note that I will not be collecting the Children’s Society Boxes until January 2021. Due to Covid19 restrictions, I will collect the Boxes directly from your home at a time convenient to you. Please do not deliver the boxes to Rosie, Cynthia or Viv. Deanne.
Face coverings in church are now a legal requirement just as they are required in supermarkets and other places. Yes, we all know that they are uncomfortable and difficult to wear, they steam up your glasses and it feels hard to breathe. But we do this to protect each other from the transmission of the virus. During the pandemic lockdown, we have been accustomed to making sacrifices to protect the well-being of others. This is a little thing that we can do to protect our Christian community from Covid-19.
Notice Sheets from Kings Bromley, Hamstall Ridware and Mavesyn Ridware
In addition to the Notice sheet for Yoxall, we will be sending out the Notice sheets for the other Churches in our Benefice each week so that we can all pray for one another at this time. The next Notices from Kings Bromley, Mavesyn Ridware, and Hamstall Ridware will appear in the New Year.
